Partner Visa 

  • Temporary:   22 months – 32 months
  • Permanent:  11 months – 17 months

Employer Nomination:

  • Direct Entry Stream: 5 months – 7 months                    
  • Labour Agreement Stream:  7 months – 14 month
  • Temporary Resident Transition stream:  16 months – 20 months

The student visa (Subclass 500) allows you to study and stay in Australia for up to 5 years for full-time study at a Registered education institution in line with your enrolled course. Under the said visa also allows you to work up to 40 hours every fortnight upon commencement of your course. 

    International students can only study CRICOS approved courses. All course providers must secure a registration to the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas students.

    ELICOS Courses: (General English/ EAP / IELTS preparation)

    • Price range from 200 AUD to 350 AUD per week

    VET Courses: (Certificate or Diploma courses)

    • Price range from 6,000 AUD to 10,000 AUD per year

    HIGHER EDUCATION Courses: (Undergrad / Postgrad)

    • Price range from 15,000 AUD to 35,000 AUD per year
    • Certificate and Diplomas: 2 to 3 days per week
    • Universities: 3 to 4 days per week
    • TAFE and other Technical courses: 4 to 5 days per week

    Institutions that offers VET courses accept partial payment (3months) to secure a Certificate of Enrolment while Universities requires 6 months’ payment.

    No, all international student are required to attend face-to-face classes and complete practical assessments depending on the course enrolled.

    • Certificate and Diplomas: 2 to 3 days per week
    • Universities: 3 to 4 days per week
    • TAFE and other Technical courses: 4 to 5 days per week

    Institutions that offer VET courses accept partial payment (3months) to secure a Certificate of Enrolment while Universities requires 6 months’ payment.

    Usually, it can take up to one (1) week, depending on the institution.

    By providing us with a scanned coloured copy of your updated Passport, School Certificate, Proof of employment, Training/Seminars certificate are some of the documents needed to be able to apply for enrolment.

    International students who decide to enrol for VET or Higher Education courses are required to provide proof of English in the form of:

    • IELTS
    • TOEFL
    • PTE
    • OET
    • CAMBRIDGE C1 Advanced Test

    For VET course enrolments, English Placement Test is an option.

    Visa process varies and estimated from 3 months to 6 months

    Assessment level is being scaled from 1 to 3 wherein assessment level 1 represents the lowest assessment rank wherein assessment level 3 is the highest.

    The assessment level of each applicant is determined by combining the country of residence and level, of course, to enrol at an institution.

    International students are allowed to work Twenty (20) hours per week while courses are in session and Forty (40) hours when on school break.

    Family members has the same work rights as the principal applicant except for students studying Master or PhD courses for their dependents has full work rights.

    Yes, student visa holders may work under an Australian Business Number (ABN), However, you still need to consider the allowed work hours under the said visa.

    OSHC stands for Overseas Health Cover insurance. It’s one of the requirements of the Department of Home Affairs for all student visa applicants and has to be valid for the whole duration of the course enrolled. It ensures all students have medical cover within the duration of their stay in Australia.

    OSHC COST (2021):

    • Single applicant:  Between 460 AUD to 500 AUD         
    • Couple applicants: Between 2,900 AUD to 3,300 AU
    • Family applicant:  Between 550 AUD to 700 AUD (per month)

    Yes. Suppose you leave Australia before completing your studies (and cancel your student visa) or have evidence that you have been granted another subclass of visa (i.e. 482). In that case, the company will refund the portion of your OSHC that you have not used. You will never lose that money.

    Yes, Tuition fees and Overseas Health Insurance are always refundable except for the school application fee and visa fee.
